Interesting… from the intro the argument is that the Consumer Product Safety Commission ‘requested’ Amazon to issue recalls for products of third-party sellers due to safety hazards. Amazon complied “voluntarily”. Then CPSC wanted to treat Amazon as a distributor for third party products that are FBA (fulfilled by Amazon, using their logistics, warehousing, and distribution). Which Amazon takes issue with because third parties have the choice to opt out of that (?). Something something ‘just a marketplace’
