Discord can be a good alternative.

WhatsApp's desktop version

Teams, Meet, Skype, BlueJeans, WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc, etc. I still think Zoom is the best of the lot.

I'm no fan of Google but I have always vastly preferred Meet to Zoom.
